Teluk Kemang

Teluk Kemang is the largest and the most popular beach in Port Dickson also known as PD, located between the 7th and 8th mile of PD town. Consequently, this beach stretch has the most number of hotels, resorts and apartments providing family accommodation. On weekends and public holidays, the beach gets unbelievably crowded with visitors, while the sea becomes frenzied from motorized water sports. Enjoy all kinds of sports activities which will make you feel that your time is never enough. These sports activities include jet skiing, banana boat rides, beach buggy ride, beach volleyball, ocean canoeing, and a lot more. All these water activities can be done with your families or your friends.

Teluk Kemang Beach, which allows you to receive peace of mind upon hearing the calming sea waves and enjoying the cooling sea breeze. Upon visiting Teluk Kemang, you need not worry about your accommodation because this tourist spot has one of the best facilities and services provided by the local people, to allow visitors to enjoy their trip here. Besides, the day trip from Kuala Lumpur is always possible.

Port Dickson is situated in Negeri Sembilan and about 100 km to the south of Kuala Lumpur. The journey by executive taxi from Kuala Lumpur via North South Highway need about one and half hours. The best estimated time of departure from KL is at 8.30 am. When we arrive at the beach, it is still cool and less crowded. Food and drink is available in hawker stalls along the beach. To stay overnight, you can ask the taxi driver to drive you to any of the hotels nearby. The executive taxi metered fare from Kuala Lumpur is about RM200.00 one way. Normally the driver will charge the waiting time, toll charges and so on but don't worry, I am offering a very reasonable fare from Kuala Lumpur which is RM500 round trip. Free waiting for the first 3 hours and RM50 for every additional 1 hour or part of it. Just give me a call so we can negotiate the best deal for the trip.

Lets Go To East Coast

If you are planning a holiday to Malaysia and would like to see more than Kuala Lumpur, I suggest you spend a few days in the East Coast. Malaysia is one of the best places in Asia to get anywhere by the wheel. Road conditions are good, traffic well mannered and executive taxi fare very reasonable. The meter fare is about RM750.00 but you can negotiate with the drivers for a better deal.

It is a very good idea to travel by executive taxi because it is comfortable, with a good guide and you will also get to enjoy the scenic views of Malaysia's countryside along the way.

In Terengganu, Tanjong Jara Resort has one of the best beaches in Peninsular Malaysia.

There are 99 gorgeous rooms hidden among the palms or on the edge of the beach that spills out from the tangled foliage. Through my personal experience, this resort in Dungun Terengganu is the best choice.  It is a complex of timber bungalows wrapped around a lagoon.

Here are some of my personal collection of photos during my holiday there with my family recently.

Driving to Tanjong Jara Resort from Kuala Lumpur via East Coast Expressway (Lebuh Raya Pantai Timur) is a real experience for many. The 370 km + - distance can be covered in more or less four hours. Its good to go easy and enjoy the journey. Take a break at rest and recovery areas along the way.
